Proper Brushing

Many of us brush our teeth just in routine without focusing how it is being done. Getting the technique right is the first step to good dental health.

  • Brush your teeth gently and in a circular motion, moving up and down.
  • Move your brush on every tooth.
  • Do it with patience. If you will take care of your teeth, you can enjoy chewing your food with your strong and health teeth.
  • Do it at least for three to four minutes
  • Soft-bristled toothbrush is very much important for your teeth. Hard-bristled toothbrush will not only hurt your gums, it can also lead to infection.
  • Change your toothbrush frequently; don’t count the number of months, but with the position of your toothbrush.

Brush at least twice a day

If nothing works out, make a habit of brushing your teeth twice a day. Once in the morning and other before going to the bed. It is recommended by dentist to brush your teeth after every meal, but if you cannot, at least rinse your mouth to remove all remaining food particles. Otherwise it will not only give a life to bacteria but will also be the reason of bad breath.
